About McKenzie

As an Eastern North Carolina native, McKenzie has spent majority of her years in the Wrightsville Beach, NC area. Graduating from North Carolina State University with Magna Cum Laude honors, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing.

Post-graduation, McKenzie returned home to Wilmington to begin her professional career working in the construction industry for her father’s residential building company, Barker and Canady Custom Homes, Inc. She quickly discovered that this was an industry that excited her greatly. Wanting to expand her knowledge in the real estate side of the market, she associated with Intracoastal Realty and the Keith Beatty team.

In her free time, you can catch McKenzie taking in the beautiful scenery on the Wrightsville Beach Loop or cruising along the Intracoastal Waterway with friends and family. She soaks up every aspect of the coastal lifestyle and hopes to help many clients to do the same. Her understanding of the coastal lifestyle as well as the diverse amenities in the Wilmington area make her a knowledgeable agent for customers to find the right neighborhood to enjoy all Wilmington has to offer.
